Music Ministries at Prince of Peace
There are many ways to be involved in the Music Ministry at Prince of Peace. The first and most important opportunity is through the "full, active and conscious" participation in the Assembly. We encourage you to sing in a clear, strong voice while you are at liturgy. St. Augustine teaches that "those who sing once, pray twice."
There are many opportunities to participate more deeply in the musical life of the parish, and we invite you to explore how you can become more involved in the life of the Community. We have the 9:30 Choir, the Handbell Choir, the Brass Ensemble, the 5:00 Saturday Instrumental Ensemble, the Apostles Youth Choir for those 7th Grade and above, the Children's Choir for grades 1-6, the Cantors Guild, the Early Music Consort and the Schola Cantorum. We also have an exciting Concert Series to enrich the life of the Community. You will find more information on each of these groups on their separate pages.
