Eucharist

Eucharist

Come and celebrate with us each weekday morning as we hear the word and share in the Eucharist. Our schedule is 6:30am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 9:00am on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Our Sunday liturgy schedule is Saturday, 5:00pm and Sunday at 8:00am, 9:30am, 11:15am, and 5:00pm.
Our Eucharistic Chapel is located on the north side of the atrium. The Blessed Sacrament is reserved in the tabernacle and is available for private prayer and reflection. Eucharistic adoration is held every first Friday of the month from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.  We also have prayer vigil candles for your use.

Eucharist to the Sick

Holy Eucharist is brought to parishioners unable to attend Mass. Trained ministers bring communion to persons in the hospital, in Board and Care homes, Convalescent homes, and to those who cannot leave their homes. Please call the Parish office to make this arrangement.

First Eucharist

To prepare a child for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist, the child must be baptized and actively participating for the second year in a formal religious education program. This would be one of our Sunday Religious Ed or At Home Programs, or attending Prince of Peace Catholic School.
The classes for Reconciliation begin in October with the celebration being early in December.  Classes for First Communion begin in January and the celebrations take place Mother's Day weekend or at specifically designated Sunday liturgies during the Season of Easter.

Our sacramental preparation program uses a series published by Resources for Christian Living/Benziger. The children are prepared within a formative faith community to celebrate the sacraments with reverence and understanding. Class choices are Monday or Tuesday at 6:30-7:30 pm.  POP School students receive instructions as part of their school curriculum.
Certificate of baptism must be submitted when registering.
