BECOMING CATHOLIC

Are you interested in becoming Catholic?

OCIA, the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, formerly known as RCIA, is a process through which individuals learn about the Catholic faith and discern whether they wish to become Catholic. It involves a series of classes, discussions, and rites that gradually introduce participants to Catholic beliefs, practices, and community life. At Prince of Peace Catholic Church, anyone over the age of 7 is welcome to join OCIA to explore the Catholic faith more deeply. This opportunity is perfect for those who are curious about Catholicism, seeking spiritual growth, or considering conversion. It's also an excellent path for those who may have received some of the sacraments but not all of them, as OCIA can prepare you for the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. Through OCIA, participants are guided by experienced mentors and supported by the church community.
