Our Pathfinders ministry invites all parishioners to join the POP Young Church for a half day of service, SATURDAY, OCT. 22, with Streetside Showers and the homeless in our community. Activities will include serving as shower valets and offering soap and towels, a change of clothing and a sandwich for the homeless at special RVs set up to offer clean showers for those in need.

We also encourage parents to accompany their teens to visit and talk and evangelize with the homeless in designated areas. You will come away even more blessed by the experience. Meet at 9 a.m. in the parking lot in front of the church gym where we will separate into smaller groups for carpooling and activities. Shower valet duties have age restrictions (14 and up) but bring the whole family to help with distribution of food and clothing and to learn from those who have less than we do. These hours will count toward required Confirmation service events.
