MEET DEACON Dave
I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and attended Catholic school from grade school all the way through the University of Detroit Jesuit High School. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State and a Master’s degree from Purdue in Engineering. I have worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the telecommunications industry for over forty years.
My wife Joyce and I are founding members of Prince of Peace Catholic Community. We have served in a number of ministries including usher, Extraordinary Minister of Communion, RCIA, and adult and youth formation. More than 20 years ago, I was asked to enter diaconate formation. I was ordained a Deacon in 2000 and since then have served the Prince of Peace community.
