It’s Not About Me Men’s Group

This weekly gathering on Thursday mornings from 6:30 am – 8:00 am provides a safe, confidential and welcoming atmosphere where Christian men striving for holiness can become better versions of themselves by helping others to become better versions of themselves through the grace, love, mercy and forgiveness of Our Lord Jesus Christ. All are welcome.

Held at the Welcome Center, Room 815.

Schedule:

6:30 am – Gather and welcome

6:35 am – Opening prayer

6:37 am – Upcoming Sunday’s Gospel reading and discussion

7:00 am –Go around the room

7:58 am – Closing Prayer

8:00 am - Adjourn

At each meeting, except for occasional special purpose meetings, each member will discuss challenges and blessings. We recognize the importance for each member of having the opportunity to speak and having the blessing of being heard. Experience share is valuable, and advice is best received only when requested.

Any member can suggest a special topic for a meeting. Examples include member witnesses, book reviews, homily previews, speech previews, guest speakers, aging parents, children falling away from the faith, prayer, gratitude, listening to the Holy Spirit, forgiving ourselves and others, how to deal with unintended consequences from the pandemic, etc.
