Our Mission is to provide a spiritual ministry that combines prayer and handiwork to share tangible compassion and comfort to others. Our hope is that by our work and fellowship, we can help to spread God’s love.

Would you like to help?
Contributions of time, yarn or funds are dearly appreciated.

We would love it if you would like to come and knit or crochet shawls with us, or create them on your own time and bring them to us for delivery.  We will gladly accept any donation of yarn, or if you would like to buy some specifically for us, each shawl generally takes 4 skeins (please be sure all have the same dye lot numbers).  We also need helpers to tie on fringe and/or labels.  And of course, your prayers for the shawl recipients and for our ministry are precious beyond measure.

PRISON MINISTRY

Henri Montpas

Saturday mornings we go to the Lew Sterritt Justice center in Dallas. We celebrate the Liturgy of the Word and Eucharistic Service with some of the prisoners there.  It is very rewarding to share this time with those less fortunate than us and to see the Holy Spirit working to change their lives.

They hunger, as we do, for God in their lives. They want to learn to pray the Rosary and other Catholic Prayers. They want to read scripture and learn what God wants from them in their lives.

The persons who volunteer for this ministry, could go on an occasional Saturday or as many as they would like.
