Scott Hahn Visits Prince of Peace for Special Advent Presentation
The Parish was alive with excitement on Saturday, December 4, when nationally renowned author, professor, and theologian, Scott Hahn, came to Prince of Peace for a special Advent Presentation.
Our sanctuary was filled with guests from all over the Diocese as, together, we welcomed a presentation about preparing to welcome the Christ child.
We feel so blessed as a parish community to be able to offer such special events to our parishioners - but it’s only possible because of your faith and generosity! Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us!

Pathfinders Ministry Helps Distribute 4,000 Turkeys!
Lots of fun over the weekend on Saturday! POP Pathfinders volunteered with Minnie's Food Pantry Thanksgiving Giveaway.
Cars were lined up for hours. . We loaded up over 4,000 turkeys into the trunks of cars. The Mavs Maniacs and Emerald City provided the entertainment. Our backs are sore but it's a good kind of sore.
Flags For Veterans Day
Did you see the American flags waving around our campus this morning?
Yesterday, members of our POP boyscout troop and Honor our Heroes ministry, gathered to line our campus with patriotic flags in honor of Veterans Day.
We hope these flags remind you to lift our Veterans up in prayer. 🇺🇸🪖
Butterfly Garden
Have you met our latest visitors?
Our butterfly garden is swarming with beautiful monarch butterflies as they take a moment to rest at POP during their winter migration. Make sure you stop by this weekend to see them before they leave!
Trunk Or Treat
Last night’s 🎃Trunk or Treat 🎃 was a major success! We can’t believe over 150 costumed kids made their way through a line of decorated trunks, free pizza, juice, water, and LOTS of CANDY! 🍭🍫🍬
Special thanks to the Knights of Columbus who sponsored dinner and coordinated our canned food Drive! Thank you also to the POP Moms for hosting and the POP Dads who helped keep us safe by directing traffic. This community event wouldn’t be possible without all of your help. And thanks to the Knight of the Month, Dan, for sharing these photos.
We can’t wait for next year!!
