Executive Committee Gets Private Tour of Construction Progress

This past Thursday Father Michael’s executive committee got to take a tour of ongoing construction progress. Check out these photos and descriptions to see what they saw!

Robert (in yellow) our superintendent, joined the group to explain the different parts of the construction process.

Kevin points to where our food pantry and new parish kitchen will be located. The new construction project includes an updated space for our food pantry, which will be fitted with a large sorting island and loading dock for deliveries. As you can see from the construction, the foundation has been prepared and piping for plumbing and electrical is in place. Rebar has been installed in anticipation for the floor to be poured.

Take a peek inside what used to be the old school entry office and St. Katherines room! To the left you’ll see door frames which are waiting to be installed in the new school wing. This space will be converted this summer into meeting rooms and office space for our school.

It is still too dangerous to allow guests and visitors to visit our columbarium; however, that didn’t stop these surprise Spring flowers from growing! These beautiful flowers bring a little joy to the construction site.

This large scaffolding structure is being erected so that concrete can be poured at the foundation. This location is where the front doors to our new chapel will be.
