This morning was a bittersweet day as we gathered at Prince of Peace Catholic Church to bid farewell to our beloved Father Lucas. The farewell Mass and party were filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt emotions as we celebrated the incredible journey we've shared with him.
Father Lucas, in his signature playful style, invited the children to join him at the altar during the homily. Their innocent and joyful answers to his questions brought smiles and laughter to all. It was a beautiful reminder of the genuine connections Father Lucas fostered within our community.
After Mass, we gathered in the Cana Center, where we shared cake and cherished moments together. It was a time to express our gratitude, share stories, and say our heartfelt goodbyes.
