🌟 Exciting Updates for Our Community! 🌟
We are thrilled to announce some major developments regarding our construction. Mark your calendars because the NEW AND FINAL date for the Dedication Mass is set for Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 10 am—St. Patrick's Day and the Sunday before Holy Week! 🙌✨
Here are some key updates:
1️⃣ **Nave Construction Progress:** The Nave construction is on track to be finished by 2/17/24. However, please note that this doesn't mark the completion of the entire project. There's still work to be done, including installing front doors, testing the sound system, lighting controls, punch list items, and more.
2️⃣ **Pews Arrival:** The eagerly awaited pews are scheduled to arrive on March 4th. While it's a tight schedule, we plan to dedicate the church even if not all pews are secured. Installation will begin in the Nave first and then extend to the chapel.
3️⃣ **Stained Glass Beauty:** The cupola's stained glass windows have been installed and are absolutely breathtaking! The artistic touch is adding an extra layer of beauty to our sacred space.
4️⃣ **Mosaics Installation:** Fausto and Marco from Melini will soon be installing the mosaics by the baptismal font and the blessing font. We can't wait to see these artistic elements enhance our spiritual environment.
5️⃣ **Stations of the Cross:** Five of the remaining seven Stations of the Cross mosaics are en route and will be installed upon arrival. This ensures that all stations will be in place, allowing time for the remaining two to arrive and be installed.
