POP Stars can confirm that Mr. Ricky Moon is not only a wonderful technology director, but a confirmed Catholic! As we celebrate our community today for Catholic Schools Week, we’re called to celebrate the bonds that we share with one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. Excitingly, at a special All-School Mass this week, POP teachers and students had the privilege of welcoming a new Catholic (one very near and dear to our hearts!) into the Church.
We’d like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Moon on receiving the sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion! During Mass, Fr. Michael asked students why the day was so special, and students offered answers along the lines of Catholic Schools Week and receiving Communion. Little did they know that they would be welcoming Mr. Moon into the Church that morning! On January 29, with the eager eyes of students in grades K-8 upon him, Mr. Moon gave his profession of faith and received the sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion.
The entirety of the POP community, including Fr. Michael and Mr. Moon’s sponsor, Academic Technology Coordinator Mrs. Patty Bowman, is thrilled to formally welcome Mr. Moon into the Church!
