We love our POP grandparents and grandfriends! We were thrilled to host POP families from near (down the street) and far (even as far as Rio de Janeiro!) at our annual Grandparents and Grandfriends Day event this morning. After an introduction by Mr. Weber and Mrs. Thoele and a blessing from Deacon Bryce, grandparents and grandfriends enjoyed musical performances by first and third grade students as well as the cast of "The Drowsy Chaperone, Jr." Finally, grandparents and grandfriends were escorted by seventh and eighth grade Ambassadors to their students’ classrooms, where they got to *pop* in and spend a day in the life as POP Stars alongside their students! Needless to say, students were elated to read books, share their presentations, and go on scavenger hunts around school with their special visitors — it was just grand!
