Last weekend, the Knights of Columbus hosted the 120th KofC State Convention in Houston, and we're thrilled to announce that two of our Knights from Council 11716 were honored and received awards in two different categories! 🏆
First, our Brother Knight William (Bill) Weber was awarded the State Council award for Charity for his incredible dedication to the American Wheelchair mission and his efforts to raise money for those in need of wheelchairs. His efforts over the last 8 years have exceeded $1.2 million in total, and just this year from Prince of Peace alone, over $130K! 🙌
Secondly, Dan Stoffell was awarded the State Fraternity award for his extraordinary dedication at the Council, District, and State levels. His selfless giving of time and talent to all the aforementioned efforts has truly made the Knights of Columbus an example of goodwill, peace, and of course, Fraternity. 🛡️
It's an incredible honor to be in the company of these two great Catholic gentlemen, and it shines a light on the incredible work our Council has done, not just at Prince of Peace, but all over the great state of Texas. 🌟
Let's join together in congratulating Bill and Dan for their outstanding achievements and in expressing our gratitude for their tireless dedication to serving others. They are truly shining examples of the Knights' mission pillars: Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. 🇺🇸❤️
