Welcome Event

On Sunday, July 28th, our parish community came alive with the vibrant spirit of fellowship and hospitality at the Welcome Event. This gathering marked a significant milestone as it was the first Welcome Event since our recent construction and the challenges posed by the pandemic. New parishioners were warmly invited to explore our newly renovated church, which was filled with the sounds of laughter, conversation, and the delightful aroma of refreshments that created an inviting atmosphere for everyone.

Father Michael led the tours, eagerly sharing the rich history of our church and the stories behind its beautiful enhancements. New members had the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in our spiritual home, getting a firsthand look at the spaces where we gather for worship, prayer, and community. These tours not only provided insight into the physical changes but also helped convey the welcoming spirit that our parish embodies. The response from attendees was heartwarming, as they expressed excitement about becoming part of such a vibrant community.

Beyond the tours, attendees were introduced to the various ministries that make our parish a dynamic and nurturing environment. From youth groups and social outreach initiatives to spiritual development programs, new parishioners learned about the myriad opportunities available for involvement and connection. Meeting our dedicated staff members added a personal touch to the event, allowing newcomers to ask questions and discover where their unique talents and interests might fit within our broader church family.

A special thank you goes to the Welcome Ministry for organizing this successful event. Their hard work and dedication made it possible to bring our community together in celebration and connection. We are already looking forward to hosting similar events in the future, allowing us to build deeper relationships and continue fostering the spirit of welcome that defines our parish. Together, we look forward to creating a community where each person feels valued and connected, truly living out our mission of love and inclusivity.
