Parishioners gather for outdoor “Sign the Steel” Event!

On Saturday morning, hundreds of parishioners stopped by the big tent on campus to get a sneak peek at the construction progress and for a chance to sign the steel!

Staff members gave guided tours of the construction site and parishioners were able to write Scripture verses or sign their autograph on the steel beams. Our artists from Italy flew into town to show off some of the progress they are making on our sanctuary art, and the Knight of Columbus were active making free snow cones to anyone who wanted one. It was a an amazing party and a great time for all who were able to be there!

Adoration Chapel Now Available in Old School Advancement Office Conference Room

We are excited to share that despite ongoing construction and space restrictions, that adoration is STILL happening at Prince of Peace! Father Michael led a team to repurpose the old school advancement office conference room into an adoration chapel. Parishioners and guests can a.ccess the chapel through the entrance to the Pastoral Office. We invite you to come to spend some time with Jesus this week!

Daily Masses Begin at House of God's Glory As Construction Progresses

What an exciting morning! With construction beginning around St. Jame's Chapel and our Sanctuary undergoing massive renovation, we've partnered with the House of God's Glory and beginning today, are celebrating the 9AM and 5:30PM Daily Masses here! Father Stephen presided at Mass this morning for our inaugural Mass at the House of God's Glory.

Chapel Archway Giving 2001 A Space Odyssey Vibes

If you’re on campus today you’ll see a giant structure that may make you question if you’re living out a scene in 2001 A Space Odyssey. What you’re seeing is the concrete archway that will hold the doors to our new chapel!

Take a look even closer and you’ll see the foundation for the chapel is poured and ready for the floor!

Crews Erect Walls Around New School Wing and Foundation is Prepared For Chapel

These bright, sunny Spring days have been ideal weather conditions for our construction crews. This past week our teams have worked hard mixing concrete and building the exterior wall of our new school wing. In addition, the foundation for our chapel has been marked out with piers and is now one step closer to completion. Heavy equipment is still around campus - with crews working hard to remove debris from the atrium side of the Church.
