Merry Christmas, From Marta
This sweet baby girl arrived at the Hogar on May 17th at about 5 weeks of age. She was born April 10th, 2022 and deserted by her mother at the hospital. She has a shunt in her brain to treat her for hydrocephalus. The Hogar knew she would be a very special and fragile child, a true angel living on Earth. On June 1st, she received a CT scan that showed her underlying diagnosis was actually anencephaly.

Turkey Trot Fun at the Finish Line!
Happy Thanksgiving!
This morning parishioners joined 2000 other runners to run the Plano Turkey Trot! Our team was there handing out custom POP backpacks (thanks, Knights of Columbus!) and snacks at the finish line. What an amazing morning.
After the race you would've thought the race was owned by Prince of Peace - sea of blue bags! Each stuffed with a Knights Trifold, POP calendar of events, and POP school postcards.
We hope to see y’all next year.

Young Adults Volunteer at Minnie's Food Panty with Pathfinders!
It was cold but the energy was high Saturday morning as POP Young Adults and POP Pathfinders joined forces with hundreds of area volunteers to load turkeys and boxes of food into cars lined up for miles at Minnie’s Food Pantry in East Plano. Their service of love helped provide Thanksgiving dinner for upwards of 4,000 hungry and needy families in surrounding communities. Servant hearts are grateful hearts.
